FE Choices: NEW – 2013/14 Learner Satisfaction Community Learning Survey

7th January 2014

Following a successful pilot last year, an extended trial of the Learner Satisfaction Survey for Community Learning went live on Monday, 25 November and will run through to Sunday, 13 April 2014.  The survey is open to all Skills Funding Agency funded community learning providers and will run in addition to the mainstream Learner Satisfaction survey.

Please note that the Community Learning Extended Trial is separate to, and different from, the mainstream survey (there are some different questions specific to Community Learning).

After the survey, providers will receive detailed feedback on their own learners’ satisfaction with their community learning courses. Providers will also get feedback on outcomes for learners e.g. whether as a result they have acquired more skills or knowledge, improved their social networks, become more confident, or progressed into further learning or employment.

The Extended Trial will allow the Agency to test the feasibility of offering the Learner Satisfaction survey to Community Learners on a permanent basis and to assess whether the data captured could eventually form part of FE Choices.

For further information please view the FE Choices Information pages on the Agency’s website or email The Data Service’s Service Desk or telephone 0870 267 0001.
