Randstad pull out of Welfare to Work

Welfare to work provider Randstad Student & Worker Support has chosen to discontinue their UK Welfare to Work operations after their current contracts expires.

Randstad who celebrated 55 years of business this year, are firm advocates for vulnerable people offer tailored support to individuals seeking sustainable employment. They have annually helped 135,000 people into work each year in the UK, as well as support 50,000 disabled people.

After careful consideration, they have decided to withdraw from the UK Welfare to Work market and chosen to direct their investment to support more disabled students and workers. Randstad affirm that all their existing customers or contracting partners will not be affected and they will continue to review the market on an ongoing basis.

With an additional 8,000 disabled people expected to be supported next year, Randstad has long term ambitions to be the number one specialist learning support partner for institutions in further and higher education.
