NIACE and NOCN strengthen partnership22nd May 2015
Following on from the news in March 2014 that NIACE and NOCN were to form a strategic partnership, NIACE is delighted to announce that it is now a charitable member of NOCN. The partnership has been further enhanced by NOCN sponsoring the Employer and Learning at Work National and Regional Awards for this year’s Adult Learners’ Week.
Graham Hasting-Evans, the Managing Director of NOCN, said:
“NIACE was one of the founders of NOCN and supported it in the early days to develop into one of the UK’s major awarding organisations. We are therefore delighted that NIACE has become a charity member of NOCN and look forward to working together on the development of common policy positions and ideas.”
David Hughes, Chief Executive of NIACE, said:
“As funding for learning and training gets tighter, it is vital that organisations – with shared aims, vision and values – come together to achieve their objectives. NIACE has a long history of working with NOCN and it is great to strengthen that relationship. Both of our organisations want to see more employers offering more opportunities for adults to learn to gain the skills they need to get on in work and in life.”
