Maximising life chances of Britain’s greatest asset – young people

8 November 2016

We are delighted to welcome Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills, Rt Hon Robert Halfon MP, who will be addressing the conference, outlining his priorities.

This unique convention has a packed and impressive programme, with a wide range of experts and people working on the front line to tackle youth unemployment. Tackling youth unemployment and inequality is a top priority for us and our partners. For young people, social mobility and the drive towards three million new apprenticeships will be top of the agenda in the coming months and years.

The Minister will be joined at the Convention by:

  • Jules Pipe CBE, Deputy Mayor of London for Planning, Regeneration and Skills
  • Prof. Louise Archer, Professor of Sociology of Education, Kings College, London
  • Marcus Mason, British Chambers of Commerce’s Head of Business, Education and Skills

Guests will include key employers; skills and employability providers, policy makers, researchers; youth workers, teachers, trainers, and lecturers; as well as young people.

Book soon to avoid disappointment
