New Leadership for Learning and Work Institute in Wales1st February 2017
Experienced campaigner, David Hagendyk will be joining Learning and Work Institute as the new Director for Wales.
David has eighteen years experience of political campaigns and policy development in Wales. He will join Learning and Work Institute having worked for the last six years as the General Secretary of Welsh Labour.
Prior to this role he worked as the Political Liaison Officer for the University and College Union Cymru and Head of Policy for Welsh Labour.
Commenting on his appointment, David Hagendyk said:
“I’m really pleased to be joining the team at Learning and Work Institute at an important time for Wales. The vote to leave the EU means that now more than ever we need to make a powerful, compelling case for the continued investment in lifelong learning and skills.”
