Employability and Skills Wales Convention
Learning and Work Institute is pleased to bring you this year’s Welsh Employability and Skills Convention.
The Convention comes at a critical time. With the all age employability delivery plan announcement imminent, the Work and Health Programme moving closer to implementation, and the new apprenticeship policy being delivered, the landscape for employability and skills continues to change.
The Employability and Skills Convention is a flagship event for the sector that will once again address the challenges and opportunities faced by policy makers and providers, but it will also shine a light on innovation and best practice.
As well as a key note speech from the Minister for Skills and Science Julie James AM, we will hear from key officials, practitioners, academics and businesses about the Welsh Government’s plans for employability policy, the state of the labour market, and the opportunities for change.
Whether you are delivering a national contract, running a local project, working for the Welsh or UK government, the private sector or third sectors, the Employment and Skills Convention will help you improve services and understand the policy and financial pressures to come.
