Knowledge exchange event: Career progression, adult learning and Advanced Learner Loans – understanding views and taking action

This event is a key part of Ambition London, a wider project that L&W has been delivering, funded by the JPMorgan Chase Foundation to explore making better use of Advanced Learner Loans to support employers and individuals to meet their skills needs and progress.

The aim of the event is to:

  • Give delegates direct insight into L&W’s research findings in understanding the views and perceptions of employers and individuals.
  • Provide an opportunity to discuss what action needs to be taken to reverse the decreasing trend of adult participation.
  • We are delighted to confirm Mary Vine-Morris, Association of College’s Area Director for London has agreed to chair this event which we hope will offer stimulating and thought-provoking discussion.

The event will provide an opportunity for you to:

  • Learn about the views and perceptions of employers and individuals.
  • Discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the FE sector
  • Gain inspiration and practical ideas about ways to develop your own provision offer
  • Contribute to L&W’s final research report by providing a FE sector voice
  • Network with colleagues and share ideas

We look forward to welcoming a range of colleges, training organisations and other interested parties to the event.

If you have any questions, please contact Anna Sutton.
