Regional Apprenticeship Essentials training and networking events

Overview

Learning and Work Institute is working in partnership with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to deliver a support programme for Local Enterprise Partnerships and their partners focused on apprenticeship growth.

We will be delivering regional events for brokers, advisers and employer engagement staff within LEPs and intermediary organisations that engage with or offer advice and support to businesses.   Note: These events have not been designed for training providers or colleges.

The theme of the events will be on exploring the ‘essentials of apprenticeships’, set in the context of the wider skills offer.  The events will also include input from members of the Apprenticeships Ambassador Network.

Agenda:

  • The skills agenda
  • What makes up an apprenticeship programme
  • How apprenticeships are funded
  • Unpicking the employer’s apprenticeship journey
  • Lunch and networking
  • Apprenticeship Ambassador’s story
  • Apprenticeships as a solution
  • Further information / links and resources

If you want to get a better understanding of apprenticeships and get to grips with what they offer and how they are delivered, book onto one of our events below
