Working at Learning and Work Institute
We are an independent research and development organisation dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, full employment and inclusion. We’re focused on the big questions. How do we help more people find work and build careers in a changing jobs market? How do we help people to be active and engaged citizens? And how do we do all of this at a time of constrained public finances? As a Silver Investor in People award holder, we are also committed to staff development and equality of opportunity in all aspects of our work. In addition, we are an accredited Living Wage Employer.
We’re looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Research Intern to join our London or Leicester office. This is a unique opportunity to contribute and gain insight into L&W’s high-impact research, policy, and campaigning activity across all areas of our Strategic Plan. You will be responsible for participating in our programme of research, as well as proactively supporting other colleagues across the organisation.
To apply, download the job description and person specification and submit your CV, with a covering letter, to the Recruitment Team stating whether you are applying for either the London or Leicester location.
The closing date for applications is midday on Monday 10 April 2017. We anticipate that interviews will take place week commencing Monday 24 April 2017.
Learning and Work Institute is a level 2 Disability Confident Employer. Should you require any adjustments to participate in this recruitment process, please contact Rachel Marvin, HR Administrator on [email protected] or call 0116 204 2819.
